A Word from Monique Beljanski, President of the Foundation

Monique BeljanskiThe Beljanski Foundation is dedicated to promoting the achievements and legacy of a genuinely innovative PhD molecular biologist, Dr. Mirko Beljanski. A researcher, a discoverer and an inventor, Dr Beljanski became famous in Europe for his discovering anti-cancer drugs that worked without side effects. However, his discoveries embraced a much wider field of research. His approach proved so innovative that to this day, many of his breakthroughs have yet to be eclipsed or superseded.

This was made obvious recently when there was news regarding a new discovery of small RNA controlling life of the cell. Scientific reviews rushed into this brand new field, although Dr. Beljanski had already foreseen its critical importance at the end of the sixties. In 1969, he discovered small RNAs that transmitted hereditary characters absent in the DNA. His astounding research led him, in 1974, to be the first biologist to detect reverse transcriptase in bacteria[1]. He then went on to find a technique to produce small primer-RNAs capable of helping bone marrow stem cells accelerate the production of white blood cells and platelets when a large part of these stem cells have been destroyed by conventional chemotherapy or radiotherapy. All of this, without any side effect.

In the eighties, his discovery of two molecules capable of inhibiting cancer cells without side effects is a feat unrivaled to this very day[2]. Despite the fact that over the last 20 years thousands of individuals have been saved by his discoveries, history shows that researchers ahead of their time are often misunderstood.

The Beljanski Foundation's mission is to inform you about these discoveries and provide links for more information. Our mission is also focused on preserving the plants where Dr. Beljanski found molecules that could achieve his visionary concepts. Above all, the Foundation is dedicated to the preservation and the continuation of research pioneered by Dr. Beljanski. Several discoveries are still in need of further exploration so that they can be applied to solving medical problems that remain a mystery, particularly in the field of viral and auto-immune disease.

In order to continue Dr. Beljanski’s goals, the Foundation asks for your support.

The time has come for these discoveries to become universally recognized.
